Maintenance Recommendations:
Once we've done an initial roof moss treatment, we recommend that you call us every 1 to 2 years for a roof inspection.

How We Do It:

We are “Your Partners in Home Maintenance”, so we will not pressure wash your roof. Pressure washing can take the life right out of your roof, not to mention the possibility of roof damage! We use brushes to agitate the moss growth. This will remove nearly all the moss. We don't go deep enough to remove all of it, otherwise we'll be causing the same issues that the pressure washing would cause. What little moss is left is usually very difficult to see anyway. We blow the loose moss off the roof and clean up as described in gutter cleaning.

Lastly we put a chemical treatment on the roof that kills any moss that may be left. Chemical treatments should be reapplied at the first sign of moss, typically every 1 to 2 years depending on the amount of shade on your roof and the amount of rainfall.
